Description
I work retail and pennies are a nuisance at best. I wanted something to shoot them into a bucket between customers.
I started looking at other designs, then tried a couple of my own (the ones with pink parts.) They all worked, but I wanted something different. I started working on a design similar to the 'disk shooters' we had as kids, and it got really elaborate - springs and screws and glue and complexity.
Then it hit me - a simple, finger mounted, catapult. Printed in PETG,
It flings a US penny a good 10 feet. It's small, and it takes about 5min to print. The only downside is I had to enable supports to get a nice pocket.
