Description
Hey there, its been a while since I've made anything, but I'm back and this time its good!
INTRODUCING MAGBOT: A posable, customizable, magnetic figurine that required no snapping pieces together, so if you use PLA, it wont explode. More features, parts, and updated models will come, but this is my "Beta Run" for you guys to tell me what you want me to improve of this model and what features y'all want me to add.
If there is something you don't like about the model, Great! Let me know what it is so I can improve and change it! Anything you want to add yourselves? Feel free to remix it!
PRINTING: Honestly any filament will do, I just happened to use that ugly red PLA filament because its the one I use to test my prints, but PETG and other will work too, I just don't have the money for them lol. Use no less than 10% infill, less than that and they might break when putting the (5x2) magnets in. (BTW the size for the magnet holes is 5.25mm if you want to remix!) (:
Minimum pieces needed for one whole figure:
1 Head
1 Body/Torso
1 Waist
2 Joints (Its literally just called joint in the file)
1 Upper Arm Right
1 Upper Arm Left
2 Upper legs
4 Forelimbs
2 Hands
2 Feeties
Feel free to add anything extra to spice up your figure! For example, using the waist piece as a connector for two more arms.
GETTING THE MAGNETS IN THERE: Everyone's printers work differently, I know, but these are designed for the (5x2) magnets to snap into place, no glue needed. But that doesn't always work unfortunately, so if you print off the set and the (5x2) magnets wont fit, I'd recommend scaling it up to about 105%, then getting some plastic glue. PLEASE make sure you remember the orientation of every magnet, the creative capacity of the figure heavily dependent on if the magnets are all placed correctly (For example, having all the magnets on the torso have the positive side facing up so you can rearrange the pieces how I have in the last photo) Slight apology for the bad photos, I'm an engineering major, not photography.

WARNING: THE ODD PARTS MAY PROVE DIFFICULT TO SOME PRINTERS. I printed these off with an Ender 3 Neo and it had varying results. If you would like me to make ODD parts that are easier to print off let me know. Or if you like the struggle then hey, more power to you.
Lastly, do not worry, I will try to make sizes for different magnets upon request, but not those obscure or awkward sizes like (11e^2.5 x 7.3) magnets.
Thank you for checking out my creations, and happy printing!
