Description

Free 3D printable chess set – STL and 3MF files included.

This is a complete chess set with a clean, modern design. The pieces shown in the photos have decorative horizontal stripes. These stripes were created by setting filament color changes at specific layers in the slicer, so the final look can be easily customized.

You can freely change the color combination by choosing different filaments or by adjusting the filament change layers in your slicer. The included 3MF file contains one complete chess set with the color-change settings already prepared, matching the striped look shown in the photos.

If you prefer a simple, single-color version without stripes, use the STL files. The STL files contain the same chess pieces as solid models, ready to print in one color or to customize however you like.

Included files:

- STL files for individual chess pieces

- 3MF file with one complete chess set and prepared filament color changes for the striped version

Great for printing a custom chess set, experimenting with color changes, or creating your own unique version.

The striped version shown in the photos was made using filament changes at selected layers in the slicer.

For the striped version:

1. Open the included 3MF file in your slicer.

2. The file already contains the prepared color-change settings for one complete chess set.

3. Print the pieces using your chosen filament colors.

4. When the printer pauses for a filament change, swap the filament and continue printing.

For a single-color version:

1. Use the STL files instead of the 3MF file.

2. Slice the models normally without any filament changes.

3. Print each piece in the material and color of your choice.

You can also modify the stripe colors or remove the stripes completely by changing or deleting the filament-change commands in your slicer.

Recommended material: PLA or PLA+

Layer height, infill and other settings can be adjusted depending on your printer and desired finish.

Supports may depend on your slicer and printer setup, so please preview the files before printing.
