Description
I wrapped a marble run along an orb. That's it. Tested on my friends - they said it's fun and addictive. Perfect for fidgeting :D No one was harmed during testing.
Designed for 10mm steel marbles.
Setting | Value |
|---|---|
Material | Suitable for printing toys (I used PET-G and PLA) |
Nozzle | 0.4 |
Layer height | Max. 0.2mm |
Walls | 3 |
Infill | 20% rectangular |
Support | Tree support (it's easier to peel off) |
Brim | Depending on bed adhesion |
After printing, make sure that steel balls fit and don't fall from the groove. The connector is a little bit tricky to print. I recommend printing at 45 degrees - the STL is oriented as suggested.
Assembly is really simple. Print two halves and connector, then put it together according to drawing below. Orientation doesn't matter.
There is a choking hazard due to 10mm balls inside. If you are worried about this, you can glue the two halves together.
Also - it makes noise. It has both upsides and downsides. Proceed with caution.
