Description
“O Oysters, come and walk with us!” The Walrus did beseech. “A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk, along the briny beach...”
The chessboard has suddenly taken a nautical turn! Plunging into the deep poetry of the Looking-Glass world, the Red army unleashes its most unique cavalry unit.
Introducing a completely new take on the Red Knight — a majestic Seahorse, accompanied by a curious flock of talking Oysters!
This piece is a true tribute to the bizarre and wonderful lore of Wonderland. This is not a knight riding a steed, but the steed itself, transformed into the Red Knight piece. The beautifully sculpted Seahorse, adorned with armor elements, stands proudly and is ready to leap in an L-shape across the board. Look closely at the base, and you will find the tragic yet adorable little Oysters looking up at the battle, wondering if it's time for a walk (or time to be eaten!).
Every scale on the Seahorse and every shell of the Oysters has been meticulously designed. Despite the rich, organic details, this model is fully optimized for standard FDM printing, ensuring a clean, stunning tabletop miniature right off your build plate.
To ensure your Seahorse and Oysters print flawlessly:
Layer Height: 0.12 mm or 0.16 mm is highly recommended to capture the delicate scales of the Seahorse, the armor details, and the tiny faces of the Oysters.
Supports: Tree (organic) supports are essential. Carefully support the Seahorse's snout, its armored sections, and any overhanging shells on the base.
Infill & Weight: 15% for the main body. To give this dynamic piece a premium, heavy tabletop feel and prevent it from tipping over, use slicer modifiers to set the bottom of the base to 100% infill!
The Red cavalry is fully assembled! This aquatic Knight joins the massive roster of our 3D-printable chess collection.
White Pawn Alice — Every great adventure begins with a single step. Have you helped her reach the Eighth Rank yet?
Red Queen — She dictates the pace of the entire game and demands flawless execution. A formidable antagonist, without whom the collection would be incomplete.
Tweedledum & Tweedledee — The contrary White Bishops securing your diagonals. Make sure to add this argumentative duo to your board before they start a battle of their own!
Humpty Dumpty — The scholarly Red Rook sitting precariously on his wall.
White Unicorn — The elegant White Knight, ready to clash with the Lion!
Red Lion — The mighty Red Rook.
White Queen — a majestic and beautifully chaotic.
The Royal Duo: Kings — The most important pieces on the board.
White & Red Pawns — The talking daisies.
The Red Knight — His clumsy but fierce Red counterpart.
The White Knight — a noble, inventive, and wonderfully clumsy defender.
The Cheshire Cat — The elusive Red Bishops.
The Mad Hatter — The eccentric White Rook.
“There's plenty of room!” A mad tea party isn't complete with only one host! Preparing to secure the other flank, the frantic March Hare is getting ready to join the board as the second White Rook.
The March Hare will be the penultimate piece in our collection, leading directly into our grand finale — the ultimate transformation of White Queen Alice! Follow the profile so you don't miss the epic conclusion of the Grand Game!
