Description

This uses two mechanical keyboard switches to make a moving shulker fidget toy. The box in the picture is fully open, and upon pressing the top, it closes fully and bounces back. Very fun to play with and a fun desk ornament or fidget toy.

Parts:

  1. 2 mechanical keyboard switches of your choosing. I designed it around a cherry switch, which means most mechanical switches will fit. The clickier the better in my opinion

Printing:

  1. Print in the orientation provided. Openings on all parts facing up. You will need supports for printing the head

  2. A 0.4 mm nozzle or smaller is recommended to get the switch geometry correct, although I have successfully printed it with a 0.6mm nozzle

  3. Making the top lighter by using less infill and fewer walls makes the top rebound faster

  4. Feel free to print in multicolor to get the colors correct. I recommend just printing it in the base tan color for the head and painting the eyes on

Assembly:

  1. Firmly press your keyboard switches into the head. One on each side. Make sure they are oriented correctly. The mounts are rectangular and so is the button on the switch

  2. Firmly press the head into the keyboard switch in the base, then firmly press the top onto the keyboard switch in the head

  3. Click it!
