Mimic Vault — dice drawer in a monster that eats the loot

A ruined stone monument that is secretly a mimic feeding on the rift. The

front of the plinth is a drawer — the mimic's maw — that slides out to hand

you your dice; relief teeth grin along the drawer face, eyes glint between

the cracked stone blocks, and a pile of translucent crystal bait sits in a

recess on top. Open it and the monster gives up the loot; close it and it's

just an innocent block of dungeon stone.

Holds a full 7-die D&D set (interior 48 × 76 × 24 mm — the d20 lies flat

with room to spare). A two-colour D6 is included to match: Roman numerals

I–VI where every "I" is a little cartoon femur bone and the V-strokes are

round-capped to suit.

Everything prints upright, no supports:

• Pedestal — the cavity ceiling is 45° corbelled (~16 mm self-supporting

•   bridge), so the hollow body needs no support.

• - Drawer — open box; the teeth and tongue are chamfered 45° underneath so

•   they print clean.

• - Crystals — print in translucent PLA; the plate drops into the top

•   recess (a second colour, no glue needed — friction-seats).

• - Die — print flat on any face, no supports.

Two-colour parts (Bambu AMS):

• The crystal bait is its own drop-in plate — print it translucent/pink and the

•   stone body in grey.

• - The die ships as mimic_vault_die_combined.stl, **one file with two named

•   solids** — in Bambu Studio: Import → right-click → Split to Parts, then

•   assign a bone colour to the numerals and a dark colour to the body

•   (coordinates are locked, zero clearance, prints as one solid multi-colour

•   cube). Prefer separate files? ..._die_die.stl+ ..._die_numerals.stlare

•   the same two parts split out.

Footprint ≈ 58 × 86 × 60 mm. Print the dice in as many copies as you like to

fill the drawer.
