Description
A quite chungus Scrungaloid subspecies gene spliced from samples taken during the Scrungaloid Tag & Release program, a domesticated CARBON 13 Figure and leftovers from Positional Primary Krackenel experimentation.
Extracted most of the visuals that were unoccluded/nonintersecting on the T&R Scrungaloid, recreated the rest, excluding the hand which was repurposed from the Primary Builder.
Some changes to Scrungaloid geometry were made for this to be more functional as an articulated figure.
No joint dimensions changed from that of the Carbon13 for compatibility.
I created a ball-on-a-plug for use in wrists and ankles since the parts of this model are not optimized to print in the same orientation as those of the Carbon13.
Built shoulder pad connectors from the Carbon13 toe joint.
The one pictured was printed from the STLs provided using my Creality Hi with the settings recommended for the Carbon13 plus mouse ear brim and build plate tree supports.
Files with names which contain "MirrorMe" should be duplicated and mirrored to get the part for the opposite side.
Files with names which contain "Joints" are, as per recommendations from soozafone in regards to the Carbon13 Figure joints, best printed in PETG or some other filament which is better than PLA.
(My initial full test print was in PLA, it works but the joints loosen quickly.)
Im including (admittedly quite messy) blend files for ease of remixing.
ADDITION on 260628:While i do like the original bolter ive remixed another one in a more modern form factor, with the magwell closer to the pistol grip and a larger front grip below the barrel.
This is a remix using:
osmetic geometry from Tag & Release - Scrungaloid Sample Model by open_sketch.
Joints from CARBON 13 Printable Jointed Figure by soozafone.
Hand from posable primary v2 by Kracken.
Accessoryhandle from Basic Tools and Tool Belt for CARBON 13 by Repoholy.
Big thanks to all originators.
