Description
Meet Floral Fury, a bouquet of beauty and destruction! Stop to smell the flowers if you dare, but don't expect to keep your limbs!
This spinner follows all the regulations for Open Sauce 2026
Less than 273mm ripcord.
Less than 91mm blade and it is 25mm from the ground.
All the parts are modular and you are able to replace specific parts if they break in some spinning action!
The handle can be used as a wrench to assemble and disassemble the spinner
And of course it's used as a handle to start spinning!
Some tools will be required to finish this project but it is all easy to obtain.
You will need:
Superglue for flower petal decorations
Thin flathead screwdriver for prying of custom supports
Tweezers to precicely place decorations (optional)
PETG fillament
All the models are oriented in its optimal position and no models need any supports. There are however some custom made supports which will be snapped off later.
All the prints are made in PETG for durability but PLA would probably be okay for everything except for the ripcord. The Ripcord absolutely needs to be in PETG or something more durable material.
All models have notes connected to the files for you to know how many of them will be needed to finish this project.
There is a lot of different settings so please take a look at the section below to get each piece with the correct settings. The settings are optimizing different parts for weight and strength so the spinner is durable and stable.

Spinner bot
Th Spinner bot can be either around 20% infill or up to 80%. Lower will make the spinner lighter and it will move more erratically while a higher infill will make it heavier and more robust. Do as you please here.
Assembly consists of three parts, The ripcord, the handle and the spinner. We will start with the Ripcord.
Put the ripcord on the table. You have now assembled the ripcord.
The following items will be needed to complete this step.
Tools:
Superglue
Small screwdriver to pry off supports
Tweezers for placing decorations (optional)
Printed parts:
Handle main
Handle grip
Handle ring
Handle cap
Handle screw small
Handle screw large
Petals inner 1
Petals inner 2
Petals outer 1
Petals outer 2
First of prepare the Handle main and pry of the supports at the bottom holes. Do this for both sides.
Flip the piece over and remove the outer flower shaped support as well as the inner hexagonal shaped support. The supports that you pry off may be discarded, or you can keep them in your dirty support collection, i know you have one.
Now its time to put some decorations on the Handle main. Superglue is highly recommended for this step. you may also find it easier to use a set of tweezers for this step.
The petals are assembled in a specific sequence for easier assembly.
It goes like this:
Petals outer 1
Petals inner 1
Petals inner 2
Petals outer 2
Add a dab of superglue in the highlighted areas and start placing the Petals outer 1. Then Do the same with the Petals Inner 1.
Now do the Petals inner 2, this is where a tweezer is especially useful as these are fairly small. Then at last place the Petals outer 2.
Damn that looks nice, take a moment to appreciate your fine craftsmanship.
Now take the Handle cap and put the Handle screw small inside it.
Take a look at the Handle grip. It has one hole on both sides. One hole is deeper than the other. Locate the shallower hole and screw the Handle cap into it.
Prepare the Handle ring and locate the side with the circular support. Pry it of and keep it in your support collection, you dirty dirty person.
Flip the Handle ring over and locate the hexagonal shaped side. Align the Handle ring with the Handle main part. Note that the shape is not perfectly symmetrical so please don't force it on. It should fit kind of loosely. If it does not fit, rotate it a little and try again.
Take the Handle screw large and screw it into the Handle main. Then screw the Handle grip onto the Handle main. Make sure its screwed on tight!
The handle is now complete!
The following items will be needed to complete this step.
Tools:
Superglue
Small screwdriver to pry off supports
Tweezers for placing decorations (optional)
Printed parts:
Spinner flower outline
Spinner top
Spinner blade
Spinner bot
Spinner tip
Spinner top gear
Spinner bot flower decoration (6x)
Petals inner 1
Petals inner 2
Petals outer 1
Petals outer 2
Leaves
Lets start with the flower decoration.
Prepare these parts now:
Spinner flower outline
Petals inner 1
Petals inner 2
Petals outer 1
Petals outer 2
Leaves
These steps are very similar to the handle decorations and follow a similar sequence, the only difference being that we now have leaves as well. Like before, put a dab of superglue on the highlighted areas and then place the parts in the correct sequence. Tweezers might be helpful here.
Sequence is as followed:
Leaves
Petals outer 1
Petals inner 1
Petals inner 2
Petals outer 2
Glue the highlighted areas and place the leaves, then place the Petals outer 1.
Next place the Petals inner 1 and then the Petals inner 2.
Now place the Petals outer 2 and then this part is complete!
Prepare the Spinner bot, Spinner bot flower decorations and the Spinner tip.
Note that the flowers have one rounded edge. Align the rounded edge to the hole in the Spinner bot and press them firmly into the slot. Repeat this step for all the holes in the Spinner bot. Place them in whichever pattern you find pleasing.
Take the Spinner tip and push it into the hole in the middle. Put the bot part to the side for now.
Identify the three supports on the Spinner top gear and snap them off. You know what to do with them, wink wink.
Take the Spinner flower outline and place it in the suspiciously flower outline shaped hole on the Spinner top. Then take the Spinner top gear and screw it in the hole in the middle.
Position the slot on the Handle onto the top of the Spinner top gear. Use the handle like a wrench to tighten the screw into the Spinner flower outline. Don't overtighten the screw.
Place the blade onto the screw and then screw the Spinner bot onto the screw.
Use the handle as a wrench again and screw down the parts together tightly.
Everything is now fully assembled! Great job!
