Description
This is my second attempt to design a GM screen for my tabletop RPG sessions. Much better than the first one, but still not perfect. Anyway I hope it will be useful for other GMs.
The screen is a modular system that includes:
2 integrated dice towers
An initiative tracker
Multiple storage compartments for dice, cards, tokens, and miniatures
Dedicated card slots for 88×60 mm cards (items, spells, etc.)
Space optimized for paper miniatures (~60 mm height)
While the photos show one example configuration, this system is not fixed. You can freely rearrange, combine, or expand the components to build your own layout depending on your gaming needs.
If you need a specific module size or an additional component, feel free to contact me — I may be able to add it in a future update.
Design constraints:
Length adjustments must be in multiples of 6 mm
Height adjustments must be in multiples of 8 mm (preferably 16 mm to maintain brick texture alignment)
Because I iterated and reprinted many parts during development, I cannot give an exact filament estimate. However, the full set will require at least 6 kg of filament and significant print time.
Some parts will need to be glued together after printing, and seams may require filling or painting (I used an acrylic marker for this). Supports are not required.
Parts labeled “Left” and “Right” are orientation-specific (based on the player sitting behind the screen)
Unlabeled parts are reversible and can be used on either side
Central wall partitions are modular and can be installed or removed depending on preference
It is also possible to use the initiative tracker tiles from my first screen:
