Chess Board

A simple chessboard made from standard blocks that can be scaled to any size.

I designed to be glued together, and wanted a clean look on this first version so care will be needed when lining the blocks up when gluing.

I plan future versions with interlocking pieces to make assembly easier, but less simple.

I'd recommend printing them hollow to save time.

Come up with your own design using the taller peices - marked with a + on the STL filename showing the amount of mm it is higher than the standard block.

Create a table, or a textured playing surface. My favourite is the ‘valley’ with each side starting higher up and fighting in the lower middle.
