Description
I created a range of 16-sided dice…but only provided STL files for the successful ones. (You can see the small one in back, where it lies flat, but has a edge instead of a top “face” of the die.)
The spindle version is the most “fair” die - each side is sized exactly the same, but it also has the least space for the glyphs.
The odd-polygon one has 4 different types of sides - each with the same surface area. Is it completely fair? I hand-crafted the faces and angles, which makes me suspect imperfection.
The 7-plus-1 version is my favorite. 7-sided cone, with the tip chopped off to make the 8th face, before mirroring it into 16-sides.
