Description

I saw a video of someone flipping some Begleri around, so I decided to try and make some. Here are a few designs that I came up with: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2964562. They worked out so the next logical step was obvious, Skully Belgeri.

Like the others, the Skully Begleri were designed to work with #95 paracord, but I'm sure you can resize them or make larger holes for a different grade paracord.

The Begleri need to be a little heavy, so make sure you print at 100% infill. This will 1) give it the more weight and 2) keep them from shattering when you drop them on your tile floors!

Have fun with these!

Update: I've tested this print with the following paracord sizes and they all work well:

  • 95 (really too small for adult, might be okay for child)
  • 275 (works well)
  • 325 (feels the best to me, but I have large hands)

Update 7/16/18: I refined the design a bit and uploaded higher resolution file, which is probably over-kill for this but oh well. If you have download before now, I suggest downloading again.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

Prusa Mk2

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.1mm

Infill:

100%

Notes:

Print with rafts if you think you will have a bead adhesion problem. They are small and don't have a large base to hold them down.

Post-Printing

After printing, you want to add the paracord. The length of the cord should be long enough that you hang it from your middle finger and both beads are below your palm. Should be arond 13cm between beads. Hope this makes sense, if not, there is always Google.
