Description
The new for 2020 Robby the robot sold by Walmart in the USA but made by Goldlock in China is a great toy. But if you want to mod it then you will need to get inside. To get the dome off the ear units must come off. You can break them off and then glue them back on or if you 3d print these clothes pin type tools that grab hold of the Baster Beems "ears" you can then pull them off. They are one tight with barbed ridges on a metal shaft. But you can get them off with this specail tool and by twisting and pulling and nothing will be damaged. The dome then lifts off and then you can get to the screws that hold the head together. The first type I made kind of make my finger hurt to use. The second type you use plyers so work much easyer for me. I call them the Robby Ear Puller Stubby.
I took the springs from two wood clothes pins to use with my ear puller's. But springs are not needed as you can just pinch the 2 parts together as you work the tool.
