Moana Heart of Te Fiti Locket and Heart Project

This project contains two models. I designed both to print at 0.75mm extrusion width and 0.3mm layer height, which is my standard “high quality” setting for an 0.8mm nozzle on my Ender5 Pro. I printed them in 3DFuel's ProPLA at 230 on the nozzle and 60 on the bed. Includes photos show it right off the printer. I'll update with a final photo once it's painted. 

The first is a print-in-place hinged locket/necklace that is designed to be robust but with styling of Moana's locket from the movie. 

• The clamshell locket is designed with a print-in-place ball/detent hinge, as well as a small clasp.
• The model also has cutouts for 3mmx2mm disc magnets. You can superglue these in to add a stronger closing lid, but they're optional. The cutouts are modeled at 1/8" diameter, which is the perfect clearance for a little superglue or hot glue. 
• For the string, I just drilled holes with a 1/8" drill bit, and didn't bother modeling the holes since they would have been in a vertical wall and probably would have needed clearing with a drill bit anyhow. 
• The bottom inside of the model also has magnet cutouts that match the ones on the bottom of the next print

The next print is the Heart of Te Fiti.
