Description
I made this as an educative toy for my children for a camping vacation on the beautiful Île aux Lièvres on the St-Lawrence river, Quebec, Canada.
The goal was to facilitate exploring the riverside and its treasures while taking as little space in our backpacks as possible. They pack flat and should be quite strong and water-resistant if printed with PETG. Fits on a Prusa MINI.
Drop a fistful of mud on it and shake it gently sideways in the water to reveal hidden treasures such as beautiful rocks and seashells.
The mesh is actually infill without top nor bottom layers. The technique is described in detail here. You can also use the provided 3mf as a starting point as it's already configured with the appropriate settings. Make sure you have good adhesion before printing (clean your print sheet with dish soap and water if necessary) to make sure the mesh sticks.
