Description
Repurpose your starter box into the ultimate KeyForge Battle Chest!
This organizer fits within the starter box and holds 9 sleeved and boxed decks along with all of the pack-ins for two full starter sets (so 4 players total) so you can have a complete mini-tournament-in-a-box setup.
Don't have or need two sets of tokens? There's a spacer you can print instead to save on filament, while still getting all of the other benefits this organizer provides!
NOTE: Please be aware that this design does cause the starter box to be taller when shut (see the picture of the closed box) to accommodate as many decks as possible. The cardboard of the starter set box will still completely cover the print so that it is not able to be seen from the outside.
Color listed is how they appear in the uploaded photos
KeyForge Box Organizer (Light Blue) ~130g of filament
The main frame. Includes space for up to 9 decks (maximum deck box dimensions: 28*99*71mm). I personally use and recommend these vase mode deck boxes from vnshng – they print super fast, use minimal filament, and are plenty strong: https://www.printables.com/model/38911-keyforgedeckbox (You can see 9 of these being used in the pictures)
There is a slot for holding up to 4 chain tracker cards. The outermost wall of the organizer is a bit higher than the internal framing to accommodate up to 4 playmats and a rulebook sitting on top but still held in place. The frame is the perfect height so nothing internal will be exposed once the lid is on.
I've added in an STL for a version of the Box Organizer without the hexagon cutouts, just in case your printer doesn't handle printing those very well or if you want it to print a bit faster since the hexagons cause so many start/stops and retractions. The solid version uses ~190g of filament
KeyForge Token Organizer (x2) (Magenta) ~51g each
These can hold one starter set worth of tokens (22* Æmber, 15* 1 damage, 4* 3 damage, 3* 5 damage, 20* power, 6* stun, 9* enrage, 9* ward, 2* chain tracker and 6* key tokens). The chain tracker slot is hidden underneath the key tokens. The little nub on top helps align when stacking, and provides an easy way to lift the trays out of the box along with the extra notch at the top of the damage token storage.
You'll need to print two of these for the full setup, and they stack in the open corner of the organizer frame.
KeyForge Token Organizer Lid (White) ~17g
You only need to print one of these! This is a lid to hold in the tokens in the top token organizer. Fills in the gap between the top of the token organizer and the inner frame of the box organizer to make sure tokens don't spill into the gaps during transport.
KeyForge Token Spacer (Yellow) ~25g
Print one of these instead of a second Token Organizer if you only have one set of tokens. This will save some print time and filament, and it can always be replaced with a second token organizer in the future if needed! There is one photo that shows where the spacer should be used.
I printed all of these with the following settings on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon:
A complete setup (1* box organizer, 2* token organizers, and 1* lid) just under 250g of filament with these print settings.
