Description
The Fairy Queen by MZ4250 has wings tips which are not possible to print with a FDM printer. I adjusted the vertices in Blender to make the wing tips thicker. By printing it at 200% (116 mm height) it is possible to print this model with a FDM printer.
The Fairy Queen in the photo was made with a Creality Ender-3 V2 printer with AzureFilm PETG Transparant filament. The Cura slicer settings were: 200% size, 0.2 mm Layer Height, 0.45 mm Layer Width, Wall Line Count 2, 4 Top Layers, 3 Bottom Layers, 15% Infill Density, Infill Pattern Grid, Support Flow 95%, Fan 10%, Tree Support, Support Overhang Angle 60 degrees, Support Density 10%, Remove All Holes.
I choose 10% fan, because I wanted very good layer adhesion for the arm. The layer adhesion is very good, therefor the fan speed can be set higher for more accuracy. By selecting "Remove All Holes" in the Cura slicer, the invisible part inside is not printed but filled with infill.
A big thanks to MZ4250 for giving this model for free together with the Blender file with only a CC BY license.
