Description

I can't leave well enough alone, so I made my Uburn have all sorts of customized nonsense as shown in the finished picture. Nonsense including:

  • Shaved all the tac rail off and the spots where it attaches
  • Beefed up magfront to match the muzzle and magback forms
  • Dual color plunger because just putting holes in it is old news
  • Super fancy 3-piece nameplate design that allows more mix-match shenanigans
  • Mag release that takes a screw for the spring notch and is meant to be used mainly with a halfmag adapter
  • Replacement of the spring hook in pcap with another screw for durability
  • Realignment of some bits to still use the locknuts with the standoff version files
  • Fillets instead of v-notches on the buttplate for a little different look
  • General poking here and there
  • And my customized version of the grip Slug made for me that you can also find at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4074422

As far as printing goes, should you choose to also like some of my changes you'll for the most part file the normal Cali printing guidelines with orientations being largely obvious. I printed most of mine with 4-5 walls,3-5 roofs/floors, and 20% infill at .42mm line width and .3mm layer height.

Of note is the inner part of the plunger is a spiral mode print that I did at .46mm width, your settings may vary based on printer tolerances.

Uses all the normal hardware with 2 more 4-40 screws required. I can't guarantee it'll still work with the standoffs since I haven't tried it after my poking. PRINT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
