Description

I designed this so I can have something fun to do and print that doesn't take a ridiculously long time to print and is able to be printed on a 12cm/12cm/12cm build plate. I want to try to make my models accessible to people who have smaller printers and I want to have fun doing it! The catapult is SUPER powerful and can launch the ammo around 15 feet. The bowl can be used for other purposes as well, such as a desk organizer or a storage compartment. The catapult is designed to stop its swing at a 45 degree angle and it is still being tweaked. This catapult has also been tested with marshmallows and has met with great success. It will be tweaked in the near future:) Please do not sell this design on Etsy or similar services:)!

NOTE: I just tweaked it and you can find the catapult at Catapult V3 on prusaprinters :)

Print instructions

I used the lowest quality draft on Cura and 0% infill on the bowl and on the balls. I used 100% infill on the catapult and lower quality draft layer heights. I would suggest using .25 mm layer heights and 0% infill on the bowl and balls and .25 mm layer height and 100% infill on the catapult. I used Hatchbox PLA true black and Gizmodorks green PLA for both on my Monoprice Select Mini V2. On this printer it took about 7 hours total to print. Try to slice the catapult so that it is sideways so you can get maximum layer strength. Have fun printing this!
