Catan Number Tokens

Number tokens for the base 3-4 player game and for the 5-6 player expansion game.

Print pauses are recommended to change filament colors. The bottom and top layers are colored with the same filament used for the main hex tile rings. The inner layers use black or red for the base game and brown or purple for the expansion game. The color changes are at 0.8 and 1.7 layer heights.

The back sides of the tokens have letters indicating a recommended placement order on the hexes (placement in a circular fashion starting from the outside of the board). The tiles for the expansion game also have a * next to the letter just in case you get the tokens mixed up.

The filament used in the photos includes:

• Prusament PLA Lipstick Red for some text on the 3-4 player game tokens
• Prusament PLA Jet Black for some text on the 3-4 player game tokens
• Prusament PLA Galaxy Purple for some text on the 5-6 player game tokens
• Inland PLA Brown for some text on the 5-6 player game tokens
• Inland PLA Light Brown for the main token body

• Tiles are hand-painted with acrylic paints (using some dry brush finishing for extra texture), clear-coated with Testors Spray Enamel, and the center tiles and the magnet caps are permanently attached to the hex rings with super glue. Make sure the polarity of the magnet rods are consistent before sealing them in place (see this video for suggestions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGI3H2Inp4E )!
• The “Harbormaster” victory card comes from the “Traders and Barbarians” expansion game and goes to the player that first gets 3 victory points (from settlements or cities) on a harbor and can be stolen by another player that has more victory points on their harbors.
