Description
Printed with 0.4mm nozzle and layer thickness 0.2mm. No supports. It is the first published model that I have given some extra color by painting.
The woodpecker and the spring are own designs, the tree trunk is a remix from Vegetation B - Giant tree trunks (by Terrain4Print). I used the giant-4-12cm trunk and scaled it down to XY-60% Z-80% and shorten the top afterwards. The tree trunk is conically hollowed out so that the woodpecker also gets a little voice. The bottom is closed, so you can easily attach it to something with some double-sided tape. However, children will probably hammer away with the tree trunk in their hands...
I added 2 springs: of 1.6mm and 2.0mm thickness. I used the 1.6mm, but with 2.0mm it becomes a bit stiffer (and stronger for children's hands).
In hand, it is best to tap the woodpecker on the tail or press down and release. On a moving surface, of course, it works automatically.
