Travel Quoridor Game

This is my version of a portable Quoridor game

All my travel games have the same size. That makes them easily stackable. They are small enough to put them in your backpack etc. Because of the design you can play these games  in a car, train or plane while traveling. (you don't have to charge a battery for it…. ;-

I printed the larger parts with 0.2 mm layer in PLA. The smaller parts (latch and game pieces, pin and wall) with 0.1 mm layer.

You have to print the peg 2 or 4 times with different colours. The wall you need 20 times.

The lid has been designed in such way that it is easily taken off to use as a tray to hold the unused or not yet used pieces. 

It is best to glue the clamp/latch to the lid.

You can use pieces of filament for the hinge. Probably you have to ream the holes with a 1.8 mm drill and you have to sand the hinges a bit for smooth operations. The tolerances are tight.

There is a slight design flaw. When you have a wall all the way to the edge of the board you cannot close the lid anymore. Maybe one day I will correct it.

Update 2022-12-05 I have uploaded a smaller wall. With this one it is possible to close the lid with walls in any position.

Update 20250221 I have uploaded a stl with a slightly modified wall. Should be a looser fit.
