Cobi M4A3E8 Sherman Upgrade Parts

Changes:

11/18/2023 - added mantlet part and updated instructions

Parts:

• The cannon support is fixes the cannon the in forward position
• The muzzle brake looks more accurate to real life and directly replaces the original parts
• The mantlet matches the real-life version used for the 76.2mm cannon used by the Easy Eight (The original part was the 75mm version).

Post-processing:

Parts may require sanding if fits are too tight. Wrap tape around round pieces if they are too  loose

Assembly:

Important: do not force parts together if they are too tight, otherwise you may risk breaking them

Unplug the cannon barrel from the original mantlet, and remove the mantlet. Set the two 1x2 plates underneath aside.

Replace the 1x2 sloped tiles at the front end of the turret with the plates you just removed. This will allow the cannon to pitch up and down (left side is original, right side is modified).

Insert the cannon barrel into the new mantlet, and place the mantlet back on the turret.
