Description
This is a detailed scale-model of the popular Ka8 Glider!
Facts:
Wingspan: 35cm
Length: 16cm
Height: ca. 5cm
Update 06.03.2023: Reworked geometry at the wings! Especially the thin areas around the trailing edge and the aileron create a smoother printing result.
Printing instructions:
You need a good bed adheasion to print this model!
Use supports for the fuselage and stabilizer as shown in the .gcode Files or pictures.
To connect the wings to the fuselage, use some toothpicks (max length: 2cm) and glue everything in place. While the glue dries turn the plane upside down.
Use the classic algorithm, not the arachne algorithm! It creates a better printing result.
The profile of the wings and fuselage looks best when printing upright as shown:
Not every Ka8 is the same. Some details of this model are unique to the real plane, which I have flown many times!
