Toy New Holland style farm tractor
My grandson received a toy New Holland farm tractor for Christmas.
Unfortunately he thinks anything with wheels is meant to move across the floor as fast as possible and bounce off walls etc. This has lead to me making replacement parts for the tractor. Since I was making so many parts I decided to also make a tractor.
Everything is intended to be a tight fit so filing may be needed.
Without glue, replacement of parts is easier.
You will need 6 #4 x 1/2 sheet metal screws (2.87mm x 13mm )
The hole in the tire rims will need to be reamed with a drill bit for a tight fit on the axles.
For axles I used 3.5 inch 11 gauge finish nail cut to length.
They are very close to 3mm diameter and I had many of them (metric rod is hard to find here).
All the STL files are oriented for the way I printed them.
Printed using PLA
0.4mm nozzle
0.2mm layer height
20% infill
Supports needed
There are 2 front and rear tires, they are mirrored because the bed side of the print was not as good as the up side.
I needed to use support and a brim to get the tires correct.
The hole through the front body is intended for a front loader attachment.
The square hole in the rear of the frame is for a 3 point hitch.
Both are future projects.
If you want the trailer see 362428-trailer-for-a-toy-farm-tractor
(02/09/2023) I have added DASH-2H-P.STL, the hole for the steering wheel goes through for removing broken steering wheel shaft.
