Description
Why Baby Pike? Because pike are the best and really cute and fun to position around the house, a real pike would die out of the water, but Baby Pike has no such problems!
Baby Pike likes it if you sing Baby Shark to him, but remember to change the words to Baby Pike, of course!
I really wanted to try and work out how to make a print in place model with articulated joints. This is about the 4th version of my first attempt.
Baby Pike can be printed in one piece with no support material in about 2 hours.
I printed Baby Pike on my slightly modified Ender 3v2 using PLA with a 0.6mm nozzle, 0.2mm Layer height and 20% infill.
Carefully remove Baby Pike from the build plate and agitate Baby Pike's fins carefully to make them move smoothly. You can colour in his eyes with a sharpie.
You can fit two 4mm diameter x 2mm magnets using some glue. Be careful as magnets can be dangerous if swallowed and you should not use them if giving Baby Pike to someone who might be at risk.
