Carcassonne Big Box (2021) Insert

This is a box insert for the white Carcassonne Big Box released in 2021 (sometimes called Big Box 2022, the White Big Box, Big Box 7, or Big Box v3.0).

The main feature is the meeple storage, which fits all the meeples of each colour into separate trays, to make setup much faster no matter your player count. They're designed to have magnets inserted into the top and bottom so they form a single coherent stack with a lid.

There are also containers for the other tokens used by the expansions: the gold bars from the Gold Mines expansion, the Mage and Witch meeples, the goods tokens from Builders and Traders, and the Ferries.

Although designed for this specific Big Box, this insert can be used for the meeples and tokens from the following expansions, no matter what box you have:

• Base game
• Abbot (abbot meeples)
• Inns & Cathedrals (large meeples)
• Traders & Builders (goods tokens, builder meeples, pig meeples)
• Messengers (messenger meeples)
• Ferries (ferry tokens)
• Gold Mines (gold bar tokens)
• Mage & Witch (Mage and Witch meeples)
• Robbers (robber meeples)

Note: this insert does not have any storage for the actual tiles, since the Big Box already handles storage for those.

The filename for each file specifies how many of each need to be printed. You will need a total of 52 5x1mm round magnets (8 for each meeple tray, plus 4 for the lid).

The lids should be printed upside down (i.e. the image on top touching the build plate) because of overhangs.
