Articulated Crystal Dragon

My 15-year-old son decided to experiment with new effects in Blender and came up with this amazing looking crystalline effect.

The model was created using Blender v2.93 and was created using similar technics from he same video tutorial as before.

It was then exported as a .stl file and loaded into Prusa Slicer.

Two files have been included.

• The .3mf file which contains the imported STL model from Blender.
• The .gcode model that was used to print the models in the photos.

Please note that due to the nature of the crystals and the change in curvature needed to fit it onto the Prusa Mini build plate, the model is slightly smaller than the Fire Dragon. This means that the joints between the sections are a bit tighter and may require a bit more care and wiggling to free them up.

The final model was printed in PETG for no reason other than the colour and using 0.15 mm layer height. 

Remakes in PLA or other material would be very much appreciated.
