Description
I wanted to make a more detailed version of my Monster Truck, here it is. I re-designed the body to fit some details (windows, engine sticking out of the hood, and headlights). I re-designed the wheels: axles now fit into the rims, and the tyres onto them. This design allows the tyres to be more squishy than before.
My design constrains where:
easy to print (no supports needed)
easy to assembly (no additional hardware needed)
satisfying snap fits, no need for glue
Printing:
The files should position the parts in the correct orientation when placed in the slicer.
I included 3mf files for each model. Be aware that I use a 0.6mm nozzle, so all my profiles are tuned for that.
Recommendations:
Print Tires in TPU with 2 perimeters and minimal infill
Print axles at a maximum of 0.2mm layer height and use PETG if possible.
