Description
Designed by my 15-year-old son for the Printables “Toy Cars” contest in February 2023.
The model was designed in Blender, exported as an .stl file and then imported into Prusa slicer to create the .3mf file.
It was printed in PETG Mango Yellow for the obvious colour choice for a slice of cheese.
The tolerance on the axels and the hole in the car is quite tight so you may need to sand down the axel to get a good fit. Else if they are too loose, then a dab of superglue in the hole first should do the trick.
There is good (maybe too much?) clearance between wheels and car but the car certainly drives very well when given a good push on a hard floor. The axel could be trimmed if you so wish.
Please note that the axels are quite weak due to the print orientation, so you might need to print some spares, or consider using a thin bolt instead.
Please post comments if you have any ideas on how to improve on this.
