HeroQuest 2021 and Frozen Horror box inserts

Box inserts to efficiently store HeroQuest base game and Frozen Horror expansion - it all fits into one box.

UPDATE: totally unplanned surprise-  the Heroquest dice tower also fits in the box. HeroQuest Dice Tower by anchorless_81 - Thingiverse

UPDATE: I just found out not all base game boxes are the same size. These inserts are designed to fit a box whit the following internal dimension (L W H) 396 x 297 x 128 mm. For box with lower height see the photos  @oXiVanisher shared of his print for a solution.

Magnetized miniature insert boxes:

Needed a way to keep all the painted HeroQuest minis from rolling around and getting damaged so I over designed a box insert for them. 

Designed for magnetized minis. indent for each mini base and for washer <16mm diameter to glue in the middle.

+ Big box - 49 minis - normal monsters (max 56mm tall)

+ Small box - 18 minis - taller sides for the over sized minis and extra large frozen horror. I basically use this box for hero's and bosses. even space for special characters (if I ever print them).

+ Single mini base - for test fit printing

The pillars and a shelf at the top of each minis storage box are to support the stackable furniture insert boxes.  There is enough clearance so no mini will be crushed by all the bookcases, desks, fireplaces and other scenery.

printed:  PLA, .3mm layer height, 15% infill.

Furniture insert boxes:

Fits all the furniture models (except the doors) and extra space for other scenery that I printed.

I keep the doors in a separate box for now. 

These are designed to stack on the miniatures storage boxes described above.

Once stacked,  there is 20mm clearance for the game board, rule book and quest books.

NOTE: As soon as I printed this I thought of other efficient use of the available space in the boxes - but I am happy with what I have for now so I will not change it. if you want to print your own layout for the dividers the dimensions for the base boxes are:

+ small box:

200.5 x 88.6 x 28 mm, bottom & wall thickness 1.6mm, dividers 1mm thick & 15mm high

+ large box:

200.5 x 200.5 x 47mm, bottom & wall thickness 1.6mm, dividers 1mm thick & 15mm high

Stack-able card trays and card dividers:

I do not know if sleeved cards will fit. 

I made the tray height to fit Base Game and Frozen Horror expansion only. I do not know if additional cards in other expansions will fit. If not scale up height a few percent in slicer until you find the size that works for you.

Print:

4x base game/expansion dividers. Print a bit slower so the text is a little nicer.

1x each spell cards divider

3x normal card tray

1x dice & card tray

1x token tray 

1x floor tile tray
