Keep The Heroes Out! Insert (Expansion Remix)

EDIT: I was notified that the original insert was removed or the link is at the very least broken. I have now included the Original insert and all the pieces, so you can even use it if you don't have the expansions!

I really loved the original version of this insert, the fact it works with the original packaging insert?! Amazing. Chef's Kiss. 10/10 would recommend. But then I actually played the game… Like, a lot… And I just knew I had to get the expansions too.

I told myself it'd be fine to just keep it in separate boxes, it wouldn't bother me… But it did bother me. And when I looked at other inserts for the full game, I just didn't want to print that much stuff… Also I don't want to replace the paper tokens with 3D ones, because I think the art style on the paper tokens is what ties it all together. And that brings me to here, learning how to use TinkerCAD at 11:30pm and smushing all my hopes and dreams together.

I kept the height of the two trays from Brezel's insert, so everything fits pretty much the same. You'll still use his Monster trays and Card dividers. With this you have to put the Resource tray in first, then the Hero tray, with the room tiles on top. Then spread out the Wave cards so you don't get any lid lift. I also have the Cthulhu Expansion, but his Meeple just shares the spot with the Red Dragon. To be honest, I didn't notice until I printed my draft of the files that I completely left out a space for the hearts…  I'm shrugging this one off, the hearts can go in the bin with the heroes or with the Big Monsters. All the cards still fit in the original insert's three card spots, fully sleeved and with dividers. If someone asks for it, I'll make dividers for the heroes/items and Cthulhu, but how I have mine placed it isn't necessary.

I put the paper guild member tokens in the expansion box since I intend on keeping it in storage. I wouldn't recommend keeping them in the main game box, as there's only supposed to be a finite amount of each hero and resource, and mixing them could lead to confusion.

I'm a lot happier with everything fitting in one box, but know that it's short lived as the game creator said he intends to release wood tokens for the resources, and since I imagine it'll have matching art, I'll have to do this all again. Oh well.
