Description

This is the model i designed to enter the “Make it Fly” Contest.

Its a helicopter toy, where you can push a collar up a spiral shaft, and send the helicopter flying.

I designed a double helix, so you can put multiple propellers onto it and they will spin in opposite directions.

To save on printing time, the main spiral shaft should be printed in vase mode (spiralise mode), the spiral grooves will make it quite strong even though its printed in vase mode.

If people enjoy it i might try and tweak and add to it more.

…oh and it has Toroidal style helicopter blades, since thats the “in thing” these days.
