Weighted Ohme Style Chess Set

A chess set based on Herman Ohme's design with some changes made to suit my taste and make them easier to print.  I've added a threaded hole in the base of each piece to receive a socket head cap screw for added weight.  The pawns take an M8x12mm and everything else takes an M8x16mm.

Piece sizes:

King - 90mm

Queen - 84mm

Bishop - 70mm

Knight - 60mm

Rook - 60mm

Pawn - 50mm

All pieces have 25mm bases.

Printing advice:

King, queen, bishop, rook and pawn - No special adhesion requirements.  I recommend supports set to 83 degrees to keep the screw holes from getting messy.  You should be able to pull them off the bed, pull out the support and thread a screw right in.

Knights - These can be tricky.  I recommend wide brims and very good part cooling.  I ended up pointing a desk fan at my print bed, and they still required a little cleanup under the chin. I've made a second knight model with a head design that is easier to print if you have too much trouble with the original.
