Description

This cute little mouse will race across any smooth floor or counter top being driven by the ball encapsulated within.  Just give him a push and watch him go!

He's not quite 50mm long and being quite chubby about 40 wide, which makes him small enough to be cute, not small enough to swallow!

I've used a standard 16mm diameter glass “marble”, a steel ball bearing would give longer runs.  A small variation in diameter will be OK. (Beware, making it too big will give some “interesting” results as the print head tries to skip over the top of the marble, less than 14.5mm and it will not be captured!!!)

I've used a 250mm long leather thong for the tail, held in place with a generous dob of superglue, but wool with a knot in the end will work just as well and will be easy to replace.

A little post processing (ie use a drill or a hot needle) may be necessary to open the hole for the tail.

Print using the .3mf file supplied if you want to take advantage of the “fuzzy skin” and variable layer  heights for a nice print - or play with the STL if you wish but don't forget to add the stop at around 16mm height to change.

I've used Prusament Galaxy Silver PLA, .4mm nozzle.
