Description

This is the FLP-03, a Flycore based Nerf blaster. It uses straight Talon magazines, and is compatible with Hurricane wheels (and I believe FTW wheels, but have not tested). The battery box is approximately 30mmx30mmx100mm.

You will need: to print and assemble the Flycore Straight with the magazine DETENT, not magazine release, as seen here: https://github.com/oldfieldadamg/OFD_Flycore_Straight

and here: https://www.printables.com/model/286951-ofd-flycore-straight-talon-design-your-next-printe

and to get your hands on 11 more M3 heat-set inserts and various sizes of M3 screws. Recommend a cheap assortment off Amazon. You'll need a 21a button microswitch (Nerf standard) and a 10a lever microswitch (same deal, if you're ordering your Flycore hardware off Outofdarts you'll be able to find them) one Nerf toy screw, and one relatively stiff trigger spring (around 5mm diameter) as well.

The trigger pack I've included here screws onto the front insert of the Flycore. You'll want to screw trigpackleft on before wiring the blaster, so you can measure out your wires. Bend the 21a switch's NO and NC tabs outwards at a 90 degree angle close to their bases, wire your switches, put them in the trigpackleft, then screw trigpackright on to hold it together. You may then drop that whole unit into the frame

The frame takes 3 heat set inserts, the cage cover 2, the top cover 2, the barrel 4. It's a pretty self explanatory build. Frame stringer goes onto frame. Trigger drops into frame with spring. Flycore and trigger pack assembly go in next. Ensure the trigger presses the rev switch down. Top cover goes on. Screw barrel into cage cover, put that assembly on. Screw rail pieces onto top cover and barrel. Slide battery box onto the barrel dovetail and the frame. Secure with M3 screw or thumbscrew. Enjoy.

As far as print settings go: supports on buildplate only, for the frame, battery box, and barrel.

Changes: 3/2/2023, added better barrel dovetail
