Description
This is a very overcomplicated helicopter to protect an egg from cracking upon being dropped from a high height. It requires a few extra parts.
PARTS
6 1ft Skewers - About 3 mm or so, you can drill out the holes more if needed.
2 Bearings - 22mm.
8 2in x 24 in foamboard pieces - These make the blades of the helicopter. You can find the foamboard at the dollar store.
Some cloth, felt, bubble wrap, or other protective material - Use this to pad the seat where the egg sits.
A few rubber bands - Use these to strap the egg to the seat. I used two in my design. You can also use these to tension the landing legs together, if needed.
Some tape - may be useful to hold on the blades better.
PRINTING
Multiple parts need support material. If you need, check the G-Code provided for orientation and support positioning.
Infill shouldn't matter too much, but keep it fairly low.
One of the files is a fully assembled version, you can look there for guidance or ask in the comments if you need help.
Happy flying!
