Description
My kids and I enjoy playing Stuffed Fables (and now also Oh, Brother expansion). I also enjoyed painting the minis. Problem is the game is a pain to setup & pack away, plus all the painted minis were getting knocked around in the awful excuse for a box insert from the original boxes.
This is my version of a modular box insert for Stuffed Fables game and Oh, Brother expansion - everything fits in one box. All parts compatible with 220 x 220 build plate. For the full experience, print 1 of each item.
UPDATE 14/10/2023: STLs are now available for each component. Many thanks to @TabithaFlatt_1300091 for creating and sharing the STLs to be posted here.
All miniatures can stand. There is enough clearance for the book and rules to sit on top of the inserts and not touch the minis.
NOTE: When packing the game books - put the expansion game book in first so the spiral binding of the original book has enough clearance for the box lid closes all the way.
You could magnetize the minis - some washers and 2 part glue are all you need to make this upgrade. Watch the clearances with the minis, especially Crepitus, Manny and Compliance Officer.
Separate boxes for carry over stuffing/hearts/buttons/dice. Carry over cards go under the matching card dividers.
Card boxes need to be placed in a particular way so the large player cards have the correct clearance. Card boxes are labelled 1, 2, 3:
+ box 1 will stack on the other box 1,
+ box 1 stack goes next to the Carry over bits and dice storage boxes.
+ box 2 will stack UNDER box 3.
+ Large player cards sit on top of box 1 stack, and cover the low end of box 3. The high end of box 3 should be flush with the miniature boxes next to it - see last 2 photos for reference.
Printed PLA, 0.2 layer, no supports, skirt.
NOTE: yes, all parts are in a single 3mf - will make separate files for each object when I learn how to do that.
