Description

this is a v2 for the battery holder for the oculus quest, the v1 had the holder at the front which made the quest very heavy with a lot of "moment" weight, this new design is nearer to the centre of the headset so there is less moment weight, which will have less strain on your neck and have a better experience.

if you need more information, go to the v1 page to get more details about the battery holder, and also if the clips on the outer edge of the holder don't work, you'll have to try to find a way to mount it with some rubber bands, string, or double sided tape but I did have to use super glue to keep the string in place so it wouldn't cover the cameras, there might be other solutions but this is what I thought of.

EDIT: v2.1, redesigned with hooks on the front of the holder so that if string or bands are used, then it wont block the cameras and make it a lot easier for putting the holder on and off from the headset, also have made holes on the front of the holder and at the battery compartment so not as much filament is used while printing while keeping it strong, and to also make it so that the vents have airflow to come out off without being blocked from the holder, also a small notch has been cut out from the holder so its easier to hold and not as much trouble carrying it around, and lastly made it so that the battery holder itself is more flush with the top of the headset than the before model.

If you would like to support me and help me buy more filament so I can test and make more designs, you can send money via paypal through this link: https://www.paypal.me/GeorgeElliott11
