Description
I wanted to wall mount my Needler, but I have cats and I didn't want them to knock the stand off and destroy my Needler when they aren't supervised, so I designed these corner retainers to sit the display base on. Now my Needler sits on the wall undisturbed and I don't have to worry about it sliding around and falling.
All printed components were PLA made at 0.2mm resolution with 20% infill, however, if you use the same shelf brackets for anything heavier than this particular project, I recommend printing them at 30-40% infill. The shelf brackets should also be printed horizontally with a brim, as mine kept detaching from the bed.
Required components:
Optional extra components for making a dedicated Needler shelf:
Keep in mind that the shelf brackets must be affixed to the wall before attaching the wooden shelf. Pre-drilling the shelf holes will also make installation 4x safer and easier. There are 16 holes in total to pre-drill: 8 on top for the corner retainers, 4 on the bottom for the shelf brackets, and 4 in the wall that are big enough to put anchors into.
