Description
##### EDIT #####
I added some double sided mounting tape to support the legs, one of the pictures shows placement. I left the wax paper on the side that faces the legs. This greatly increased the stability of the table overall.
##### EDIT 2 #####
Added a new table model. This is much more stable and the 2 halves sit almost like a flat surface. Pictures added. No mounting tape needed for this model (v5).
##### EDIT 3 #####
Here is a short video showing the tables in action:

###############
Here is my first pass at making a folding table that can be broken then put back together. I used 5mm X 3mm magnets that I got from amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09Y63J44H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I print at .6 layer height with a .8 nozzle. Your results may vary with different settings and sizes.
Print 2 legs and 2 halves of the table. The 2 x table to make a full table should print in about 1 hour and 40 minutes per Cura with a .6 layer height.
There are 3 spots to glue the magnets on each half of the table.
In the meantime, have fun or maybe your kids will have fun with this.
You might need supports but it really doesn't need it.
