Description

This remix provides the following enhancements along with a design challenge. The right lane of this model is now removable and anyone can design their own “lane”. I've provided my own ‘seesaw’ design, but there are many other possibilities, such as a circular ‘swirl & drop’.  Features:

  • 2xAA battery holder shelf
  • On/Off switch mount
  • storage for 3 x 7-7.144 balls using a screw-on cap (large threads)
  • magnetic pick up tool (if you use carbon steel balls)
  • secure mount for 2-way switch
  • removable right lane that can be replaced by user design.

I've included STEP files for my extra Lane design and for a ‘stock’ lane that you can customize, if you wish to add your own mods.

I printed all parts in PLA at 0.2mm layer height. The gears, sweepers, shaft and other small parts used 6 perimeters to give them a solid build. The white “seeSaw” was printed at 0.1mm layer height. All other parts were printed at 0.2mm layer height and about 30% infill. I used a brim on the large gear and the ballCap, but other parts should be able to print without. I've included a few 3MF print plates as well so you can see the print settings. If you need extra bed adhesion, use some glue stick.
