Description
Stretch a membrane like a cut vinyl glove, balloon, etc. over the top, secure it with a rubber band, and blow into the side. The hole on the bottom is sized for a 22mm/0.8in outer-diameter pipe (I'm using a PVC pipe labeled as "½ inch") which can be attached to lower the pitch. Holes can then be drilled into the pipe to allow for playing various pitches like any other wind instrument!
