Description

Give your Prusament rolls a little bit of articulation with my latest MINI 13 remix, Bad Filament.

I know, I had promised new pieces for my Roller coaster Creator, and they'll be uploaded tonight, hopefully, but I had to stop for a minute and make Filament Gone Bad. I was scrolling through a 3d printing discord, and I had seen someone ask the question “Can filament go bad?” I immediately pictured a foul mouthed, surly roll of filament running loose and couldn't stop giggling over the thought, so I decided that it had to be made.

PRINTING:

  • No supports necessary
  • The face will require two filaments swaps
  • The feet will require one filament swap
  • I printed everything with a layer height of 0.2 mm and a speed of 50 mm/s.
  • On top of downloading my files, you will need to download some of the Mini 13 / Lucky 13 parts. Below is a list of the parts and the amount you will need, as well as a direct download link for them. You will also need to print these parts at 200%

mini13-frame-handClosedRight.stl
mini13-frame-handOpenLeft.stl
mini13-frame-leg.stl  x4
mini13-frame-foot.stl  x2
mini13-frame-arm.stl  x2
00C04 accessory gun.stl

ASSEMBLY:

The insert should fit nice a snug in the middle of the Prusament spool, and the faces connect to it via magnets, allowing different faces to be easily swapped. Insert.stl and Face.stl are made to use a 10mm x 2mm magnet, but I've also included the .step files for both of those pieces in case you need to resize the magnet holes to accommodate whatever size magnet you have. Those .step files can be found in the Step Files folder.
