The robot can stand from a sitting position, wave its arm, move its mouth and has light up eyes.

I used the slowest RPM gearmotor "N20 style" that I could find. Rated at 16 RPM at 12 volts no load. I am running the motor on 6 volts so 8 RPM no load.
