Description
I wanted a way to mount my gigantic Lego Ultimate Collectors X-Wing (10240) on the wall since it took up so much room on shelving. I've seen this done with the Millennium Falcon, but nothing for this model in particular.
This mount uses the original mount hole that came with the set, plus I added another place underneath for piece of mind. It seems sturdy enough, but is removable if you wanted to be able to do that.
This bracket in particular is for a specific monitor mount. A link can be found below. This mount is the cheapest amazon mount that can mount monitors with the screen face up, which is a requirement to not hold the X-Wing sideways. This adapter may work with other mounts, but it has not been tested.
NOTE: The below is NOT the original mount, and doesn't look like it will work. The mount listed when this note was added seems to just be reutilizing an old amazon listing.

If you would like to adjust for another mount, you can find the Tinkercad file here:

I had a request to make the holes slightly taller so the mount can lay 100% horizontal. It is untested, but should be able to do that if you feel the need.

Filament: Hatchbox PLA White
Notes:
This was a tricky one to print, as the filament was warping where the supports met the Lego plate. It failed the first time, but the second one worked as expected, even with the warping.
If I were to print again, I think I would print at .32 , hoping the extra weight would keep it from warping so much. (No idea if that would actually fix the problem)Just print slowly so the Lego connectors are accurate.
