Tyco Trucking US1 Gears

Update:  These were originally designed based on the Shapeways processes.  I've received feedback that on some other processes, the holes may be slightly too large.  I have added two additional model files that have the individual gears only and also have slightly undersized holes.  The hole size on these is 1.4mm.  The shaft on the US-1 truck axles is 1.5mm.

These are replacement gears for the Tyco Trucking US1 (US-1) slot cars. I had them printed by Shapeways using smoothest fine detail plastic. This model contains gear sets for 9 cars. I picked that number, because Shapeways would have charged the same amount for any smaller model. At the time of my purchase (Jan 2020) the cost was about $20 including shipping for this model. So far, I've tested them for about an hour of runtime, and the car is working great. I'll report back here if I have any issues. If you print these, I'd also be very interested to hear how they're working for you.

I don't have an SLA printer, but I'd be interested to hear back if it would work for these.
