I have an earlier Stern Godzilla that doesn't have the "switch plate" aka centering tab on the sides of the cabinet to keep the playfield placed properly relative to the shooter.  Mine shoots best with the playfield shifted fully to the right as far as it will go.  An easy solution for me was to design and print a wedge or shim to hold the playfield to the right.  The result is that now the machine launches the ball very very cleanly.  

I incorporated a few things into the design.  I wanted a tab or bar where I could easily grab onto the shim to remove it when I need to raise the playfield.  I set the Y dimension (in install position) of the shim to just fit between the rail nut and the mirror blades I have in my machine.  I also made a “cutout” so that the shim doesn't overlap the edge of the apron decal.  It is barely visible once the glass is installed and lockbar is in place.  

** NOTE:  You may need to modify dimensions to suit your needs for your machine.  With production variation in these machines, what works perfectly in my machine may not work with yours.  I've included the .f3d file so you can open in Fusion360 and modify to your own needs.  The shim as-designed is 6.8mm thick, so another option would be to simply scale the appropriate axis in your slicer to achieve the thickness you need.  Easy tweak, as needed.

I printed this in matte black PLA with four top/bottom layers and four walls, with 15% gyroid infill.  That's probably overkill but it seems very durable and robust to install/removal.  Quick and easy print with the wedge portion of the shim oriented vertically, no supports or raft needed on my printer.
