16mm pressfit RCAR - Nerf rotation

Given the recent innovation of bearing SCARs, I decided to hop on the bandwagon.

If I understand correctly, SCAR = String Centering And Rifling

Bearings are pretty expensive though, so misusing rivets seemed like a reasonable solution for me, since they're like $4 at Bunnings for a 25 pack.

I've printed off and assembled V2, haven't gotten round to testing much though.

And eyeballing other designs. I figure it's best not to change too many parameters at this early stage in this tech, hopefully testing data becomes more cohesive and all.

I've set this as a 16mm press-fit for now.

Future work:

• Change dimensions to align more closely with established rotation standards
• Improve appearance
• Convert to be a Hycon flywheel insert
• Convert using established attachment methods to springer barrels
